Mosman Musical Society are proud to present "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.
This vibrant musical hilariously reimagines the biblical story of Joseph, a dreamer whose dazzling coat sparks a family feud. His eleven brothers, consumed by envy and fashion jealousy, sell him into slavery, hoping to rid themselves of his dreams and their father’s favourite son. In Egypt, Joseph’s fortunes swing from rock bottom to rock star as he interprets dreams and saves the nation from famine.
The show leaps through musical styles, from rock'n'roll to calypso, country-western to cabaret, each scene bursting with energetic dances. Mosman Musical Society has assembled a large cast of talented singers, dancers and actors. The children's chorus adds charm and cheekiness throughout. And the finale, a feel good happy ending of course!
